Embrace your uniqueness when making lifestyle changes.

Don’t know about you, but do you look at lifestyle recommendations and say to yourself…

You’ve lost the plot if you think I’m going to do that!!!!

How can one thing work for everyone?

We’re so different!!!

I look at recommendations for exercise, like for arthritis and think…

how on earth is someone my age in their 40s and 50s supposed to do that.

They won’t be able to move for a month.

We're not all the same!  You and I may be diagnosed with the same disease but that doesn't mean we're the same.  Our disease may be the same but our bodies won't necessarily behave the same.  Our disease may be the same but we have different personalities and emotions. All of this and much more needs to be addressed when making lifestyle changes.

But again it’s a recommendation to suit all.

Now, in this podcast I address the differences we may all have.

You see we may be diagnosed with the same disease but that doesn’t mean we’re the same. 

We may:

  • Be different ages
  • Be different sexes
  • Be different races
  • Come from different cultures
  • Have different personalities
  • Speak different languages
  • Have different bodies
  • Have different emotions

So I think it’s time we celebrate the wonderful things that make you, you!!!

And what makes me, me.

Fit in!!
