Embracing transformation and stepping outside of the comfort zone.

To embrace something is to welcome something into your life with open arms.

Vocabulary.com explains that to embrace a new idea:

“It’s like your brain gives it a hug”.

So to succeed with a new lifestyle change we must embrace it.

This may mean stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things.

Now does this mean to change your lifestyle you need to change your being?

Chronic illness sufferers need to embrace the changes to their mind and body in the future, not right now. Changing diet and exercise to make health changes doesn't mean you need to change your personality. Instead, make changes for transformation that coming in the future. The future you!

Absolutely not!!!

This doesn’t mean you need a personality transplant.

You just need to try a few things that you resonate with without changing the core of your being!

I feel there’s so much information online recommending lifestyle changes and the recommendations at times seem so…

Extreme!!!

So extreme that you’d have to ditch your husband, wife, partner, mom, dad, children, aunts, uncles, friends, everything and everyone that exists so you can do the said thing!!!!

So don’t feel the need to embrace something that’s not you.

Instead, embrace the transformations to come!!

And yes, we need to step out of our comfort zones to make lifestyle changes.

But don’t make changes that change what you enjoy in life!

Don’t make changes that change  to the detriment of your family and friends.

Instead, make the changes suit you!!! 🙂
