Why you should know about FODMAPs if you’re an IBS sufferer!

 

FODMAPs stands for:

      • Fermentable
      • Oligo
      • Di
      • Mono-saccharides
      • And
      • Polyols.

 

A mouthful?! Yes, I agree!!

And as well as being a mouthful, FODMAPs can be troublesome for many people.

Especially…

 

 

I.B.S. Sufferers

 

Due to this, it’s best to reduce high FODMAPs foods.

There’s lots of high FODMAPs foods, but you can make a start with the examples below…

 

The following 6 foods are examples:

 

      • Wheat
      • Garlic
      • Apples
      • Mushrooms
      • Cauliflower
      • Onions

 

 

If you’ve not already tried it, look at reducing high FODMAPs foods.
